Descriptions:
1) Two dancers in short white ballet dresses perform onstage. The dancer on the right battements a la seconde, arms on the diagonal as she looks out toward her bottom fingers. The dancer on the left faces upstage and crosses one foot over, with arms passing across in front of her. Text: Let’s Talk About Breast Support in Ballet
2) In a ballet studio, two sports bra representatives pose with a group of female ballet students in matching navy athletic sets. Two dancers hold white sports bras, and the two outermost dancers pose in attitude derriere. Text: “With the right support, you’re going to feel stronger, and you’re going to recover more quickly.” —Lucy Horsell, co-founder of the UK–based sports bra company PEBE
3) “Let’s say your teacher gets sick. Are they going to be okay with medical treatment from the 1960s? Because that’s basically where we are in terms of breast health with ballet.” —Dr. Stephanie Potreck, a dance medicine specialist based in Germany

Did you know that one of the key factors for longevity is the quality of our relationships? Reminder to call that friend, I promise you won’t regret it. This weekend was a reminder of how important my best friends are to me. I have not laughed this hard in years. Thankful to have met these ladies when I was just 15, and even more grateful that these bonds continue to grow and deepen 18 years later.
