This is a little late, but last month I had the honor of presenting my undergraduate thesis: Reflecting on the Major Themes of Mental Illness, Misogyny, and Oppression Through Historical Psychological Realism and Symbolism illustrated in Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s Short Story The Yellow Wallpaper: A Choreographic Study, at the Women’s and Gender Studies Symposium. I’ll be presenting my piece, Ephemeral Patterns, at Danceworks in December, and I’m very excited to be making my choreographic debut! 💛
