Please help us welcome our next round of team reps for Morgan’s Message!

🦋 Angelina, a sophomore field hockey player, says “I chose to be a team rep because mental health is something I truly care about. As a student-athlete, I understand the pressures that come with balancing academics, athletics, and personal life. I want to help create an environment where my teammates feel safe talking about their struggles without fear of judgement. Being a rep allows me to advocate for open conversation, reduce stigma, and remind others that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.”

🦋 Cj, a sophomore football player, says “I joined Morgan’s Message because mental health means a lot to me, especially as an athlete. The pressure to perform, win, and meet expectations can be overwhelming. Taking care of mental health helps athletes stay focused, confident, and motivated, especially during difficult moments like injuries, losses, or intense training. I’m so glad to be a part of this organization.”

🦋 Carter, a freshman soccer player, says “I am interested in being a team rep because I have seen first hand the impact mental health can have on the people you love most. It is important for individuals to understand and respect mental health as they continue to grow throughout life.”

🦋 Gavin, a freshman lacrosse player, says “I chose to be a part of Morgan’s Message because I believe that mental health needs to be talked about more.”

🦋 Josie, a freshman javelin thrower, says “I wanted to get involved because I’ve seen my teammates struggle with mental health and putting their sport over themselves. I want to help make a positive impact on my team and help other athletes that might need help.”

🦋 Julia, a sophomore field hockey player, says “I decided to be a rep in order to advocate for the mental health of all student athletes. I am so glad that I can further support my teammates and all of EU athletics through Morgan’s Message!”
