365 days being in the states 🇺🇸

Looking back, it was one of the hardest but most rewarding things I’ve ever done. There were so many moments filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and doubt, and even more times where I just wanted to be back home.

I had to learn that growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. Every challenge became a lesson, every setback made me stronger, and every new beginning pushed me to become a version of myself I never knew I could be. I’ve learned that you have to keep moving forward, even when it’s scary, and take every opportunity that comes your way.

I’ve had so many experiences, good and bad during my time out here. Through every hard time I learnt I had to keep pushing through, never give up and allow time to heal. I gained friends and lost friends, learnt to move on and grow and trust in myself.

A year later, I’m so grateful I didn’t let fear win. I miss my family, friends and life back home everyday but I am so grateful to live the life I get to live, i’m grateful for everything this past year has taught me and the people I’ve met, the memories I’ve made, and all the adventures still to come.

No matter how hard life gets, keep pushing forward as it won’t stay hard forever❤️
