Our vintage studio became a workshop during NYFW⚡️

We challenged four fashion students to rework the new @redbullnewyork @adidas Rooted Kit using vintage from our studio and fill-a-bag sales, each with their own design language.

To celebrate their New Jersey (no pun intended), released just in time for New York Fashion Week, @redbullnewyork teamed up with four students from FIT to rework and transform it into their own vision of statement pieces.

Titled “Rooted. Reworked.” the initiative amplifies young designers, something we always love to see and support.
Supporting emerging talent is a crucial mission in today’s landscape and one that should be encouraged by other establishments as well, at any opportunity that’s possible.

From @mio_okagaki transforming the jersey into a reconstructed bodysuit, to @solections taking on the project in a personal way after growing up playing soccer in New York and watching games, each designer brought a unique perspective.

@juliabaltess shaped the jersey into a sculpted version, attaching a draped lace skirt, while @twloc_kloti reworked it by incorporating denim into the conversation.

We need to see more platforms and organizations uplifting local talent!

Rooted. Reworked.

We challenged fashion students to rework the new @redbullnewyork jerseys with pieces from our fill-a-bag sales and curated vintage, each with their own design language and creative freedom.
