Here is my review for the film "Before We Forget." It is a charming, poignant, and visceral romantic drama that I would highly recommend. Thank you to @haroldpixelscenemedia for sending it my way.

⚜️ I had the delight of interviewing historian Katherine Pangonis @katherinepangonis about her latest, enthralling book ‘A History of France in 21 Women’ for The Ned @nedsclubs @thenedlondon

🎥 The full interview is up on YouTube (link in my bio).

Katherine - your book is meticulously researched and a rollercoaster of thrills, spills and frills from start to finish. One of my favourite passages comes from the chapter on actress Sarah Bernhardt who pined to be a nun before she became a courtesan and then worldwide sensation:

“She became captivated by the idea of becoming a nun, a dream that was complicated by her strong will and dramatic flair. One infamous episode involved Sarah organising a full Christian burial for her pet lizard, for which she was accused of sacrilege.”

🦎 🇫🇷

Thank you @vicbhall at The Ned
& @juliabender for filming & friends @ianfranciskelly @eilidhhargreaves for coming along.

Out now through @ukfullyfocused find the link in our bio!

Can superpowers solve real world problems? A superhero satire written & directed by me Daniel Christophersen and starring Isobel Imade

This is the story of teenage superhero in the making Hannah Harper who finds that despite her superpowers, she feels powerless to save our real world from its real-world problems. (A feeling I’ve only found to become more relevant!..)

This was our first time working with Issy who dove headfirst into the role, convincing everyone she was not only a superhero but a teenager too! (Far Away Films takes no responsibility for any bruises from wall crawling and superhero landings.)

Making this film was only possible through the help of so many amazing people including my ultimate teammates in DP Fyras Slaiman, PD Sarah Hunt, Producer Maya Wills, Cam Op Katia Hammane and of course Oscar Albert. Plus we had Mari Funabashi conjuring a score truly worthy of the Hollywood world the film riffs from.

Enjoy and bring on the snowflake blizzard ❄️
