Monday morning reminiscing over some of my favorite wedding installations from the last few seasons. Something that all of my installs have in common? An over-abundance of flowers, like the best growing season you’ve ever had in your garden, translated into a love letter to my couples. There is always at least one element that’s a little unexpected, whether a garlic scape or a weirdo we found in the woods. My team creates the majority of our installations on-site using a combination of local and imported blooms, usually with a healthy dose of foraging in the tick-laden meadows and thickets for a truly place-based feel. Within just a few hours, your venue is transformed into a space bursting with life and color and fragrance (and sometimes an insect or two). A floral experience that speaks to the senses. As I head into a period of “wintering” following surgery tomorrow, it’s such an honor to be able to go back into my photos and look at the insane amount of beauty we’ve created in just a few years. So, I hope you save this post for a rainy day, for a day that could use a little more color. And if you have a favorite image from this carousel, let me know, okay? ✨ #floralstudio #floraldesign #weddingflorist #florist #weddingflorals

Some might call us Premier ‘Draping’ of New England✨ Not every couple is looking for the same thing, and sometimes it’s the draping, or the perfect combination of draping and lighting, that really brings a space to life. Whether you’re dreaming of soft, romantic draping or a full transformation, we love helping bring your vision to life.💜

Mia Jo & Lane at Shelburne Farms on a golden September day. Sweeping estate grounds, autumn sunshine, and that particular kind of New England elegance that never goes out of style. A beautiful prelude to what promises to be a romantic weekend to remember next June at the Brick House at Shelburne Museum, thoughtfully planned by True Event. Consider this the opening chapter. Can’t wait @mia_jo_jo @lane_jones_ @shelburnemuseum @trueevent 🥂

An autumn wedding on Lake Champlain. Kate & Tommy married at the Catherine of Siena in Shelburne, a church woven into generations of Kate’s family history. Kate wore a stunning Anne Barge gown with timeless elegance that perfectly suited to the occasion. A ride in vintage limousine made everything feel incredibly romantic. At Basin Harbor, the celebration unfolded against the backdrop of the lake, with lush florals by Tipsy Tulip, toasts that brought the room to its feet, and a dance floor that barely took a breath thanks to Clockwork Entertainment. A day that moved beautifully between old traditions and new memories, with a little glamour and a whole lot of joy. Always great to have my pal @thegreatbluephotoco on the team. Anna & Dave’s wedding at Riverside Farm was beautiful Vermont fall wedding — lush florals by Honey Flora, music by Taylor Ashton and East Coast Soul, and a landscape putting on its annual show. And then there was their five-month-old son, Ben, who had a starring role of his own. Beloved by all the guests, he was carried down the aisle by Dad, and promptly fell asleep in Grandpa’s arms for the remainder of the ceremony. What little nugget! So many amazing family moments at this celebration and epic music to keep the party going all night. Always great to have @isoralithgowcreations on the team! Well, BELIEVE IT! This may be a controversial statement coming from a professional makeup artist, but I don’t believe anyone needs make up to be beautiful. However, makeup is for everyone, and together we find the level that unlocks the power of your inner beauty and elevates you to have the best wedding day experience 💞 Beauty: @hillaryfaystudios team (@kissmekatevt on makeup @ashleymstudios and @hairbycaylyn_ on hair) Bride’s hair: Sarah (the bride’s cousin!)
