@proampadeltour Creator Tournament delivered the goods!

So much fun! Losing was not so fun... but someone has to captain fun club!

Vibes were immaculate, I now have a racket and trainers... so when and where am I playing next?

You put an ex-Love Islander, a fashion designer, a padel addict/influencer and a makeup artist on ONE court… and Miguel makes a surprise appearance. 😂🎾

What could possibly go wrong? 👀

Answer: EVERYTHING. 🤣

The rallies.
The laughs.
The questionable shots.
The absolute chaos.
And of course… the bloopers. 🎬😂

We came to play padel… but apparently we came to create a comedy show instead. 🫠

Ready for the bloopers? 👀👇

🎾 COME WITH ME TO THE PADEL PRO AM TOUR! 💜

Racketeer, you were GOOD to us! 😍

A day full of padel, laughs, familiar faces and basically the best kind of chaos — being reunited with so much of my Padel fam 🥹🎾

These events genuinely remind me why I love this crazy little sport so much. The people, the competition, the laughs… and obviously pretending I’m just there for the vibes when I’m actually VERY competitive 😂

Already counting down to the next one! 👀

And a HUGE thank you to Skechers for my new padel shoes! 👟🎾 I’m officially obsessed. They were so comfy and gave me the support I needed on court.

💡 Padel shoe tip: I went half a size smaller than my usual size and found them absolutely perfect — so definitely bear that in mind if you’re getting a pair!

Who’s coming to the next one?! 👇🏼🎾

With men’s mental health becoming more and more prevalent @jasonmanford and @diondublin09 spoke to us highlighting the importance of Padel being used as a tool to improve men’s mental health. Dion Dublin also highlighted why it’s so good for ex-footballers.

Proper Padel started as a proposal for a university project between three friends; Asa, Dylan and Oliver.

This task was assigned to us around 3 months after we started playing, so we thought, why don’t we base our project around Padel rather than Football, for example. The way we started playing is a whole new story…

In August 2024, the three of us headed up to Decathlon in Stockport (@soulpadel_stockport )to buy some new tennis balls, little did we know that we would be introduced to padel for the very first time! It was mainly Dylan’s idea to go and play, but we were all very eager…

From there, we booked our first session on Playtomic, and Padel became a weekly event in our busy lives in our third year of our studies.

In the 10 months that we’ve currently been running this project, we’ve had the pleasure of attending some fantastic events, and meeting some incredible people in the padel space along the way, including @thepadeldirectory , @jasonmanford, @jake.bewley and of course the @hirostarpadel_uk crew.

The three of us have grown, both on and off court, and couldn’t imagine our lives without the fastest growing sport in the world!

WE are just as excited as YOU should be for what’s to come for Proper Padel; we can’t wait for what’s ahead, because the beauty of it is, the possibilities are endless…
