POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As winter gives way to spring, we’re reflecting on our Date Night series with full hearts.

Over the past few months, it’s been such a pleasure to open our space after hours and bring people together around the things we care about. To listen, share stories, ask questions and hear from people whose work and ideas inspire us.

Each evening was a reminder of the importance of coming together in person. Of making time to slow down, have a conversation and connect with others who are navigating the same questions, challenges and joys of creative life. In a world that can often feel a little disconnected, there’s something reassuring about being in a room together and remembering that we’re not alone in what we do.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guests, Mark Simpson and Damien Mulvihill (@_designoffice ), Jacinta Lippold (@jac__and), Lily Mora (@sunday.salon ) and Julian Hocking (@julianhocking ), for sharing so openly with us, and to everyone who came along and helped make these evenings what they were.

Thank you, too, to our generous drink sponsors @decentwines, @mateo.world and @non.world for keeping us hydrated.

As well as our amazing event partners @objectmassive , @georgiasmedley, @union.magazine , @long_prawn, @trutta_wines, @mpavilion.

We started this series wanting to create a little space for connection, conversation and community and we’re so glad we did.

Until next time ❤️

He studied graphic design at La Trobe University before completing a Bachelor of Fine Art in Drawing and Print Media at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Thanks for visiting @thedesignfiles!

The cleanest our house has ever been… it was also fun to pretend we are a household that can safely have nice things left out on the coffee table. IYKYK
