The day has come where I have to post this. If you know me, you know that volleyball is a huge deal to me. Volleyball has been my escape for the past 6 years, and now it is officially over. This sport has taught me so much about myself, resilience, leadership, failure, success, and many more things I could name forever. Valuable lessons that I will carry for the rest of my life. I have lost every ounce of confidence, been on top of the world, and been everywhere in between. Volleyball has brought me countless friendships and memories that are far more valuable than any win could ever be. Thank you to every coach that has believed and trusted in me, every teammate who played beside me, my family for supporting and showing up for me, and every person who watched. Showing up means more than you know. To the seniors, I wouldn’t have wanted to close this important chapter of my life with anyone else. This season didn’t meet expectations, but I will cherish the memories forever. It’s very hard to accept that it’s really over, and I would give anything to relive these past 6 years.

Thank you volleyball for giving me my best friends, teaching me to be a good teammate, and helping me learn how to close a chapter of my life. These past 4 years, it has been an honor to play Pike Lib volleyball. To Coach Tori and Coach Aubrey, Thank you for stepping up for us when it was needed, not because you had to but because you loved us. Gabby, Julianne, Riley, and Bella, thank y’all for making this so great. Y’all are the people I would choose all over again to do this with. 🩷

6 years ago, I started a sport that has taught me so much about life. It has taught me to never give up when things get hard, to work hard for what you want, and to believe in yourself even when it feels impossible. Pike Volleyball has been such a blessing, allowing me to grow athletically, mentally, and as a person. I’m forever indebted to this program. 🥹🥹 To every coach, thank you for believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. Your dedication to our team never went unnoticed. To my teammates, I love y’all infinity!!! You have truly made this sport worth every ounce of the work. A bittersweet ending to a chapter that has given me more than I could ever put into words. Six years of memories, lessons, friendships, and love that I’ll carry with me. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would choose Pike Volleyball every single time. Forever grateful that I got to be a part of something so special. Forever and always, Go Pike! ❤️❤️
