Three Burns. More memories than I can count.

Unfortunately, this year I won’t be making it back to the playa. I’ve spent so much of this year traveling through Europe and around the world, and right now I need to go home and spend time with my family.

As much as Burning Man means to me, family will always come first.

That doesn’t make it easy though. After going three times, there’s something strange about knowing everyone is heading back to the desert and knowing I won’t be there.

The people, the conversations, the randomness, the sunrises, the dust, the long days, the even longer nights, and the moments that make absolutely no sense to anyone who wasn’t there 😂 I’m going to miss all of it.

And most of all, I’m going to miss my Burning Man family.

I put this video together from last year with no music behind it just the real sounds, people, laughter, chaos and moments exactly how they happened.

Sometimes life takes you somewhere other than where you want to be.

To everyone heading back to the playa, have the best Burn, take care of each other and save a little dust for me.

You already know I’ll be back. ❤️‍🔥 )’(

Season is not over yet! We’re going from the 13th to the 16th!

Just want to say we love you guys. Our friends, family and partners. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to support us, eat our fish, tell their friends, and participate in this little adventure with us. We rely on each other more than ever these days, and none of this ever really happens alone. Grateful to everyone involved with making our operation so successful.

We’ve learned that with a deep understanding of what you’re doing, a lot of forward preparation, some calculated risk, a lot of hard work, a whole lot of patience, and the slightest bit of luck, you can create winning conditions and start changing your own luck.

Of course, sometimes you do all of that perfectly and the ocean still tells you to fuck off.

That’s fishing.

Some lessons on the water only make sense on the water, and you never really know what the day is going to give you. A lot of the reflection and consideration happens back on land, trying to understand what happened, what you could have done differently, and what you’re going to try next time.

Then you go back out and do it again.

The adventure is half the point, and the game teaches you the rest. As we grow, we continue Growing The Game.

I don’t mean to focus on her but you gotta have some compassion for Jennifer in the freshman dorms.

She just got here.

She thinks Taco Bell is a food group, and has three tabs open about changing her major, and just discovered that professors don’t take attendance.

She hasn’t gone down the rabbit hole because she’s still trying to figure out how the laundry machines work.

We were all Jennifer at some point and the UCSB Golf Club still teaches and caters to Jennifer.

Vibe Golf League exists because golf is one of the easiest excuses to bring good people into the same place
& the golf is real..

We are competitive by nature and we want to improve compete, and have fun but the game is a meeting place for what we’re really building. An environment where genuine relationships form naturally & people consistently spend time together. They begin introducing friends, sharing opportunities, collaborating on projects, helping each other through hard seasons, creating businesses, volunteering, mentoring younger members, and becoming more engaged in their local communities.

That’s where this next manifestation of @projectgrowthegame via Vibe Golf League becomes something much bigger than a recreational golf league.

Project Grow the Game is the ecosystem that makes all of that possible & golf is simply one expression. The same principles exist around filmmaking, entrepreneurship, music, wellness, education, humanitarian work, dinners, workshops, retreats, volunteering, and countless other disciplines where people come together with sincerity and purpose.

Our belief around this is simple: meaningful relationships begin within conscious embodiment that moves outward to create meaningful lives.

As trust grows, opportunity grows. As opportunity grows, generosity becomes easier. As generosity becomes normal, communities become more resilient. People begin taking care of one another because they actually know one another.

That’s the long game & it’s healthy.

Vibe Golf League will be where many people first experience that kind of culture and through Project Grow the Game the culture will continue to mature into a way of aligned living for a good modern
