MURDER AT ACKERTON MANOR appreciation post!

Thanks to Steven Gallagher for asking me to do it. And for writing and directing a beast of a show that was a joy to perform. I’m in your debt. Collect any time.

Kris Bowman and Aaron Ryder, thank you for ALL the stupid shit on stage and off. Name the river. Name the time. I’ll bring my suit.

Mel, Caitlin, Emma, Jane, Brandon, and everyone who laid their hands on this show: you made us look so good. Too good. I’m forever spoiled.

If you ever get the chance to work at @thousandislandsplayhouse TAKE IT! They are the best people working at the highest level. Go see a show there. You’ll see.

Thank you thank you thank you.

A good time was had by all.

Packing for Winnipeg and already missing this incredibly special group of people. Grateful for every second I got to spend with each and every one of them from day one of prep to now. À la prochaine, Murder at Ackerton Manor, and as @juliarafteryy said today, "see you in Belize!"❤️

Our sentiment when we found water backstage at 11pm. We survived though!! Big thank you to @juliarafteryy & Liz Free for handling a wild ride!! 🫳🏽🎤

This is the first time I’ve really started feeling confident in my stage managing skills. I learned A LOT on this gig, from late night laundry, to learning & creating an ASM track during the most intense week of theatre (I joined a day before tech week) and literally surviving 2/10 Biblical plagues (bugs & floods), I couldn’t have asked for a better team to go through this with!
For all extenuating circumstances, the show itself was awesome! I’m always happy to return to help my former program. Thanks to @musictheatre.slc for letting me do so! ❤️🖤

More photos to come!

(Also #throwback to when I was in SLC’s Little Mermaid and the second show was Spring Awakening, finally made it into both shows! 🫡)

And that’s a wrap for The Songs of Johnny & June at Thousand Islands Playhouse! I had such a fun time with this group of people, so many memories made and just continuous laughter, day to day, couldn’t imagine how this crew of humans could get any better! New friends, old friends, and family! It’s been a great few weeks! Until our next adventure together! ❤️

That’s a wrap on 9 to 5, and my season at TIP!

I’ve had so much crazy fun the past 4 months out in beautiful Gan, working and living with such excellent people. Production and creative teams, casts, crews and bands, they manage to get the best humans in one spot.
I had a blast mixing 9 to 5 for their run, and working with the amazing @briankennydesign to get the house rockin’! Thanks to everyone who made this time so incredible, I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had here this year!

Now back to Toronto for new adventures!
