Sound Mind: an evening of connection and community for a cause 🩵

Alongside my incredible sponsor, @wellconnectedclub we sold out a sound bath for nearly 50 people in support of @cmhawecb for my @missuniversecanada humanitarian initiative

My platform is connection. I believe it changes lives, and that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and connected. As a Doctor of Audiology, I help people reconnect with the world through hearing, restoring not just hearing, but confidence, relationships, and independence.

That’s why this event meant so much to me. Every day I use sound to help people reconnect with the world. At Sound Mind, we used it to help people reconnect with themselves. Sound isn’t only something we hear. It’s something we feel. Long before it became medicine, it was healing.

The room went quiet. Just sound, breath, and stillness. Somehow, in that shared silence, strangers left as friends. That’s connection in its simplest form.

Together we raised $4,858.07 for CMHA. Every ticket, every bid, and every person who showed up brought us one step closer to a world where mental health is treated as a universal human right.

Thank you to @patriceoliveiraa for believing in this vision, to @sian.duggan for leading a beautiful sound bath, to @jackcurran6 and @milliere_productions for capturing the evening, to @studiohomme.co for hosting us, and to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and guest who made this possible.

If you couldn’t make it, you can still support CMHA through the Advocacy tab on my website (link in bio).

Sound Mind lasted one evening. The message doesn’t. There is help. There is hope. Because everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and connected. No one should have to struggle alone in silence. 💜

Vingt-neuf. 🇫🇷🍰

The older I get, the more I realize I love celebrating my birthday because it’s the one time of the year I get to spend time with my favourite people all in one room!!!! 🥹

This year, I wanted to celebrate a little differently by giving back to a cause close to my heart. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the @cmhawecb as part of my @missuniversecanada humanitarian project. Celebrating another year while giving back made this birthday one I’ll never forget.

Mon coeur est rempli. Merci infiniment. ❤️
