⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: THE FOOTAGE IS HARD AND HEARTBREAKING TO WATCH 💔
These are dogs we have rescued and they are now receiving veterinary care, but sadly this is the reality of the condition some arrive in. ❤️‍🩹

❤️‍🩹 HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE ❤️‍🩹

This Friday, our appeal is once again for our sickest little babies.

Every one of these dogs has been pulled from a slaughter truck 💔 They have already endured more than any animal ever should.

I have to warn you — they are very sick, especially our three little Frenchie boys. They were likely on those trucks for days, and their tiny, already frail bodies may simply have been too broken by the time we reached them.

But for now, we continue. ❤️‍🩹
While they are fighting, we will fight alongside them.

We also have a large veterinary bill for our other pups currently being treated in Beijing. I’ll share some of their updates over the weekend so you can see exactly who your donations are helping. 🐾❤️

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in us and for giving us strength through some of the hardest days in rescue.

If you can spare £5 this Friday, or absolutely anything at all, it will go towards the veterinary care these babies desperately need. 🙏🏻❤️

❤️ TODAY’S NEUTER APPEAL ❤️

Some lovely news to start with… Binky has recovered so well from his pneumonia 🥹❤️

He is now off his antibiotics and honestly, he is a different little dog. Today he has gone off to the vets to be neutered — another huge step towards being ready to travel to the UK 🇬🇧 and eventually into his forever home 🏡❤️

Alongside Binky, we are also sponsoring three little girls to be spayed.

And just look at how cheeky these three were today before leaving the shelter 😂❤️ Happily jumping around on the food sacks without a care in the world!

Maybe they somehow know they’re safe now. Maybe they know there’s a whole team of people here in the UK 🇬🇧 rooting for them, even from thousands of miles away 🥹❤️

Now let’s help lead them towards the lives and the dreams they so desperately deserve 🏡❤️

I have asked for blood tests to be carried out beforehand, and the approximate cost for each girl, including those bloods, is around £170.

We have not committed to bringing these three girls to the UK yet, but there is always hope in my heart that, when the time is right and we have the capacity and funding, we may be able to ❤️

For now, they can remain safe at the shelter — fed, cared for and protected — until we are ready to take on more.

If anyone would like to contribute towards today’s neutering and spaying costs, absolutely anything would be so gratefully received ❤️

And our three precious hairless Frenchie boys will finally be getting their names later today or tomorrow 🥹❤️ so keep watching!

There will be a full update on them too, but for now… they are eating, and they are fighting. 💪🏻❤️

So we desperately hope they have that stubborn little Frenchie spirit inside them, because right now we need every ounce of it to keep them going 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you, as always, for helping us give these dogs a chance — and helping us lead them towards the dreams they deserve ❤️🐾 xxx #pekignese #pekigneseofinstagram #whitedogs #pugmix #shelterdog

Did anyone really think I would be able to say NO to this little snowball of scaredness?! 😭🤍🐾

Left sitting on a slaughter truck 💔💔

Knowing I am already breaking under the weight of it all but somehow saying NO hurts me even more.

So another 2 dogs have become ours…… ❤️

We don’t know their sex, we don’t know their ages, we don’t know anything about them yet. We just know I have said YES. Get them off that truck & make them safe.

Just some of the payments already sent today…… and yes, we have no choice but to pay in advance for these dogs to be safe. We have to pay for them to be removed from the slaughter trucks and sometimes that means paying for ALL of them to be removed.

So that is what it took today…… and that is what I did. 💔

I couldn’t leave them there. I couldn’t choose which ones deserved to get off and which ones didn’t. Their safety cannot wait whilst we try to find the money afterwards.

Now they need to be assessed by our vets, treated, vaccinated, transported to Beijing 🇨🇳 and that is literally just the start of their journey.

If you can donate no matter how small it ALL counts. We desperately need your help because these little souls now depend on us 🐾❤️

NO applications please 🙏🏻 We are incredibly busy trying to rescue & keep these dogs safe and that is where my energy needs to lay right now.

Friends…… see you again one day, hopefully 🤪😉😂

🚚📦 SPECIAL DELIVERY… & A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM NORMAN DUMPLING McGEE 📦🚚

Hello everybody 👋🏻🐾 It’s ME… NORMAN.

Once upon a time I was lost. Now I am very much FOUND ❤️ I have a family, a warm bed, an enormous personality 😂 and quite frankly I run the place.

But I still have SO many friends waiting in China 🇨🇳❤️‍🩹 and I would really, really like you to help them.

Mumma says it doesn’t have to be loads. Maybe your weekend pint 🍺, Mars bar 🍫, milkshake 🥤 or whatever you can spare.

Because £1, €1, $1 — whatever your currency — ALL ADDS UP. And together those little donations can mean veterinary care, food, boarding, rescue and ultimately another LIFE SAVED. 🐾❤️

And Norman says one more thing…

📣 WE CANNOT DO THIS ALONE.

So PLEASE share us from the rooftops. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell the pug next door 😂 Be PROUD that you stood beside dogs trapped within the horrors of the meat trade in China and helped us fight for their future. 🇨🇳➡️❤️

I promised you all a Sunday update, so here it is 🫶🏻🇨🇳❤️‍🩹

All of the dogs from the slaughter truck have now been pulled. 🙏🏻🐾 They are safely at Sister Yin’s shelter or at the Vets receiving the care and treatment they desperately need to survive.

Some are more poorly than others. For some, heartbreakingly, it is simply too late 💔 For others there is still hope — and whilst there is hope, we will continue to support as many as we possibly can.

There are SO many ways you can help us 🫶🏻 Fundraising makes a massive difference. Items donated for our auctions = vital funds for the dogs. Sponsored events such as marathons, walks or challenges = donations we can send straight to our Vet or put straight into a freedom flight pot ✈️🐾

If you would simply like to make a small donation, anything you can spare genuinely helps us continue supporting all of our dogs still waiting in China 🇨🇳❤️‍🩹

I cannot give updates on specific dogs from this truck, nor can I cherry-pick 🍒 which dogs we ultimately end up taking into our rescue. That simply isn’t how rescue on the ground works.

What we CAN do is continue supporting Sister Yin and these dogs, help as many as our funds allow and, when they are strong enough, hopefully bring more of these precious souls home for adoption 🏡✈️❤️

Thank you, as always, for standing behind us and helping us continue doing everything we possibly can 🫶🏻🐾

❤️🐾 OUR 6 SLAUGHTER TRUCK SURVIVORS ARE SAFE IN BOARDING 🐾❤️

Shall we introduce our special 6 again so you can all root for them as much as we are 🫶🏻 Gwen & Fernanda our black pug twins 🖤 Esmerelda our little fawn girl 🌸 Humphrey our Frenchie mix 💙 Pollyanna our fluffy pug & Paddington… who may yet become Pudding 😂😂😂

After an incredibly long but worthwhile journey they are finally SAFE ❤️‍🩹 & honestly they are already acting like different dogs 🐶 Watching them discover probably their first proper bed & outdoor space is just everything. They have absolutely no idea yet that their best is still to come 🇬🇧🏡❤️

I won’t lie we have a huge journey ahead. None of them are in tip top condition, fundraising is going to need to be epic & we still have 5 dogs ahead of them waiting to fly ✈️ Have I bitten off too much this time? Probably 😂 but I always said our final big mission would be BIG 🫶🏻 I’m certainly not one to be defeated!

Forever homes will be on their agenda too 🏡❤️ & you can come & talk to us about all our adoptable dogs this weekend at All About Dogs Norfolk 🐶 More info to follow!

6 lives heading towards slaughter. 6 lives now safe. 6 futures completely changed. ❤️‍🩹🐾

🌅 MONDAY MORNING IN RESCUE WORLD 🌍🐾

Another week begins, and beautiful Fernanda Flumpkins is here to remind us exactly why we simply have to keep going. 🫶🏻💕💜

Yesterday, unfortunately, we didn’t raise enough to cover Fernanda’s neutering, which means she cannot yet move on to the next, safer stage of her journey. 💔

Because of the disease risks associated with dogs coming directly from the meat trucks 🛻, our Vet and boarding facility in Beijing will not accept the dogs until they have been neutered and are ready to move safely.

And after losing our precious Summer Mavis, none of us ever wants to experience that kind of heartbreak again. 💔🌈

So we have to do everything we possibly can to get these dogs out of the shelter environment and into the care we trust — but we need your help to make that happen.

Just look at Fernanda. 🥺💕
That waggy little tail was still going even on the slaughter truck. She survived that journey, and now she deserves the chance to discover what life was actually supposed to be.

Can you help us get this little girl to her next phase? 🙏🏻🐾

💜 PayPal:
https://paypal.me/rescuepugswithlily

There was another slaughter truck rescue mission early this morning. 🛻💔 I have seen the footage and, as always, it breaks me knowing what those dogs are facing.

But with funds so desperately low, we cannot reach them all. I have to be realistic and believe we can help a smaller number rather than promise something we simply cannot fund.

That is an incredibly difficult thing to accept when every part of you wants to say “take them all.”

So please remember, helping doesn’t always mean making a big donation.

🐾 A like helps.
🐾 A comment helps.
🐾 A share helps us reach somebody new.
🐾 And even £1 genuinely helps move us a little closer to saving another life.

We can only continue because you continue with us.

From the heart, as always — thank you. 🫶🏻💜🐾

For Fernanda. For Summer Mavis. 🌈
And for the ones still waiting for somebody to choose them. 🛻➡️🏡💕

⚠️ Content Warning ⚠️

Some of the images and footage in this post are graphic and may be distressing to some viewers. Please only continue if you feel able to. We never share these scenes to shock, but to give a voice to dogs whose suffering would otherwise remain unseen. ❤️‍🩹

❤️ £2 Giving Tuesday ❤️

Today, we continue to give HOPE to the voiceless dogs who have nobody else.

These dogs endure unimaginable cruelty every single day simply because they were born in China.

It doesn’t matter what breed they are, what size they are, how old they are, whether they’re pedigree or mixed breed, healthy or disabled. Every single life matters. Every dog deserves kindness, compassion and the chance to know love instead of cruelty.

Today is for all the dogs we love. ❤️

The ones who already have a place in our hearts but haven’t yet had the chance to experience unconditional love, safety and the forever homes they deserve. 💔

Every single day we do everything we can to help as many as possible, but we will always wish we could save more. Every rescue reminds us of those still waiting… watching… hoping that one day it will be their turn.

If every follower could donate just £2, or simply share this post, together we really can change lives. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, helps keep hope alive. 🫶🏻

Your donations provide the essentials while these precious souls wait for freedom—soft blankets, nourishing food, veterinary treatment, toys and safer shelter facilities. Most importantly, they help us continue working towards the day we can bring them to safety.

Every pound also gives these dogs something they have so rarely known… hope. ❤️

We promise we will never stop fighting for them

To our precious dogs still waiting…

Please know that you are loved, even though we cannot hold you in our arms just yet. We haven’t forgotten you, we never will, and we will keep fighting until as many of you as possible know what it feels like to be safe, cherished and finally home. #adoptdontshop #puglove #frenchbulld

I’d love to say it’s £2 TUESDAY with excitement like usual, but there’s more to the story 📖.

Harriett is feeling very poorly again, and we suspect she might be coming down with parainfluenza. Poor Tinks has tested positive for it. Unfortunately, this illness is spreading in China right now, and it’s no one’s fault. I’m especially worried about both of them since they are vulnerable. Harriett recently underwent a major C-section and lost her pup, Billie, while Tinks arrived in terrible condition and had significant eye and facial surgery.

I’m in constant communication with our vets in Beijing, and I’m grateful that our little Norman is recovering well. It’s incredibly stressful to have so many sick dogs, especially when they’re so far away. I just want to reach out and give them both a big hug 🥰.

To help ensure they recover well enough to fly, I would be so grateful for any donations. With airline restrictions in place, we need to get them well before the heat becomes too intense. Your support could make a real difference in their journey to recovery ❤️‍🩹 & no donation is ever too small to make a difference xxxx the rescue paypal is rescuepugswithlily@gmail.com #donationsneeded #appeal #pugrescue #pugs #puglife

Finally, some happiness to share this Friday! ❤️

Our beautiful Harriett is enjoying a delightful walk with the vets, getting into playful mischief among the bushes and relishing the sunshine! ☀️

And our sweet Tinker is finally experiencing the freedom, space, and joy of life that he truly deserves.

Our brave warriors—Jasmine, Bear, and Audrey—are still fighting infections but holding strong.

We’re reaching out for your kindness and support today! Every donation goes straight to our most vulnerable pugs who need us now more than ever. Remember, no gift is too small; your generosity truly makes a difference, and we’re counting on our wonderful community to rally together for them. ❤️

As we wrap up the week, let’s make it a brighter one for these amazing pups! Don’t forget, our auction is in full swing on Facebook—link in our bio. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support!

Monday News 📰
Sharing that our final three Pugs—Jasmine, Audrey, and Bear—have left Anshan and are on their way to Beijing! This journey has required significant effort, but they are “ finally” headed to safety. I wish I could have lifted them out sooner but nothing is ever as it seems or easy to navigate but now they have finally left cramp cages & faeces to lay in. Hopefully soon their spirts will lift & it will start to feel worthwhile 💔💔

In Beijing, they will undergo a full assessment to ensure they receive the care they need.

A big thank you to Mr. Guoji, who rescued them from dire circumstances. I have sent a personal donation but it would be lovely for others to join me with this and appreciate the good work he does. Without him over half our rescue dogs would not be alive let alone in the UK so I remain hopeful someone may donate specially for him.

Donations are currently very low, so we appreciate your support to ensure their well-being & so we can at least try to help them even if thats just by neutering them so they can never be put through breeding again.

We’ll keep you updated! #pugrequest #pugs #pugrescue #pugsandkisses #pugsofinstagram
