@peakingmovie was one of the most unique experiences I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. I came to the incredible @thevalkyrieranch for my cameo, and ended up staying for two full weeks to help out. Seeing @brentpella bring to life his incredible vision of a full movie that takes place at a festival was truly inspiring. The friends we made along the way will last a lifetime.

This was a moment I manifested for a long time. About 10 years ago I was sitting in my bedroom watching YouTube videos of a burnt out accountant from Canada who decided there had to be more to life than working a 9-5 for the next 35 years. His name was Christian LeBlanc. He sold everything, burned the boats, started backpacking the world with a GoPro, and slowly turned that dream into an incredible life, multiple businesses, and eventually one of the most inspiring entrepreneur journeys I’ve ever followed. Back then I was brand new in nursing, but over the following years while I got more and more burnt out in healthcare, I kept watching him chase the exact life I wanted for myself. I remember laying in bed one day watching one of his travel videos and turning to my girlfriend saying, “If he can do it, so can I.” Fast forward years later and somehow I end up in Bali at the exact same villa I watched him build online over the last few years after getting invited to his first entrepreneur mastermind surrounded by creators, developers, tech founders, e-commerce entrepreneurs, and people from all over the world building incredible things. Out of over 100 applicants, I got invited into a room with people I used to think were untouchable. And honestly the craziest part was realizing they’re all just normal people trying to figure it out too. One thing Christian said that really stuck with me was that one of the most powerful things you have in life is your story. The way you tell it can unlock opportunities, relationships, business, purpose… everything. Watching him go from inspiring me through a screen years ago to now becoming someone I can call a friend was honestly surreal. Crazy to think that in a lot of ways him telling his story gave me the courage to finally start telling mine.
