This beautiful June wedding in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence has just been featured in Vogue France.

I had the pleasure of creating Estelle’s makeup for her wedding day. Her brief was simple: she wanted to feel like “a sublimated version of herself” — soft, luminous and effortless, rather than transformed.

And I absolutely loved reading her words in Vogue:

“Pour ma coiffure et mon maquillage, réalisés par la formidable Julia Wren, je voulais avant tout privilégier une beauté naturelle plutôt qu’une transformation radicale.”

“I wanted to prioritise a natural beauty rather than a radical transformation.”

She went on to describe the look as “douce, lumineuse et fluide” — soft, luminous and effortless.

Those words mean so much to me because they are exactly what I want my brides to feel: completely themselves, just beautifully elevated.

Delicate makeup requires a fresh, radiant canvas. So I thank the wonderful @theresacollinsskin for prepping Estelle’s skin so perfectly prior to our travels.

There are church flowers… and then there are @fleur_provocateur church flowers.

One of the things I love most about planning and coordination is watching months of ideas, conversations and supplier talent come together on the day. The Church of All Saints in East Pennard was transformed with towering birch trees, abundant seasonal flowers and thoughtful design at every turn, creating a ceremony space that felt both breathtaking and completely at home within the historic building.

Your ceremony sets the tone for everything that follows, and this one couldn’t have been more perfect.
