Something I’m always intentionally cueing with inversions is active palms. Not only does it help support and stabilize the lift by engaging the back body and arms, but I also notice it naturally creates more length through the back of the neck. Pressing into the palms tends to encourage the shoulders to soften away from the ears rather than collapse into them, making the inversion feel both stronger and more supported.
