L’artiste plasticienne rend ici hommage au vivant, révèle son rayonnement. En son sein, au creux de ses mains, la terre en perpétuelle gestation est source féconde de trésors ardents, de miels et de vignes. Inspirée par la culture d’ancêtres nomades, d’archétypes fondamentaux, de fragrances chamaniques, le goût du sauvage et de l’authentique émane inéluctablement de son oeuvre. Ses dessins et peintures semblent s’évaporer des profondeurs de la terre, réveille le limon de l’esprit, réminiscence des pulsions primordiales, entre transe et extase, comme jaillit la sève des racines à la coupole des arbres. Pretty cool weekend… We got married! 🙂 @prescilliamoon and I had our Congolese traditional wedding, over the weekend. The first of multiple wedding ceremonies. Had an absolute blast! Forever indebted to @julienoscott (the master negotiator), @mrs_cyr7 (organiser supreme) and our respective “dance crews” for their support. Thankful for the friends and family that were there, despite me constantly asking them to save their money for the ‘SA remix’. Scientists have proven that, after a certain age, “Cheeeese” becomes “Chin up, belly in, chest out”. And that this switch occurs around the same time the location of your ‘annual catch-up’ moves from the bar on the high street, to the cosy little restaurant.
