The mission: Fly to Texas from California. Scout locations for a senior portrait session. Take the pics. Fly home. The vibe I’m looking for: pretty, colorful urban and a western look with fields and hay bales. I’m only there for 30 minutes and already spy a tarantula 😅. Rain, thunder and lightning show up when we were planning to head out. We adjust. Watch the weather. Make a plan. Weather in Texas is the boss. Not me. Look for new field locations that are easier to get to due to the mud. Go to Tractor Supply and buy mud boots. Weather starts to clear. We jump in the car with outfits. Flowers and head to hit the urban areas fort. Then the country vibe. It couldn’t have been a better session. The cloud cover made it cooler and gave us beautiful filtered light. We got through 5 outfits and during the last one it started to rain a bit. Perfect timing. Follow to see the final results. #photographer #seniorpictures #texas #california #travel

Raise your hand if you didn’t take photos this year because... You don’t have time🙋🏻‍♀️ You can’t get haircuts🙋🏻‍♀️ {thanks Newsom} You can’t decide what to wear🙋🏻‍♀️ Your kids are wild🙋🏻‍♀️ None of that stuff matters. I PROMISE! Just schedule the photos! You’ll be so happy you did! Oh PS...I’ve been begging this family for years to let me do this and here we are...another 2021 WIN!
