Okay… for once we actually stayed put 🤍 After months of planes, boats and losing track of what day it was, we’ve spent the last two months mostly at home in California, and it’s been exactly what we needed.

We squeezed in a quick trip to Miami, spent plenty of days shooting at our OG Warm Studio (including a campaign for a super secret project coming out next year 👀), had RISE mentees second shoot with us on a few different campaigns, and got to meet up with some of our local Warm Collective girls for coffee and a very long yap session.

Slower days, great conversations, time with our community, and plenty of waves. Turns out staying home is pretty good too - here’s to the last bit of slow time before things pick back up again.

And honestly, the best part of being home has been being around our people. Whether we’re on a boat in Indonesia or sitting in a coffee shop down the street, it’s this community that makes all of it feel like home. That’s what The Collective has always been about 🤍

3 years in San Diego! wah!

🌷A few special moments and highlights 🥹
-Every day out at Mission Gorge with my sweet and amazing adventure buddy @hampb4
-Sweat and slugged through my first very slow 100 mile / century ride
-Started my dream job doing photo full time at @cymbiotika :’) (after logging many hours nannying and shooting weddings/freelancing) #seenallofBluey
-Moved from bouldering to the rope life, learned to lead outside, which never felt achievable before since I am SCARED of heights (I had a sweet and patient teacher in @hampb4)
-Finished off sunset surfs with too many Cali burritos to count hehe
-Embraced the chaparral microbiome, sort of :-)
-Found the wonderful people behind @gigissandiego and @athenaeummusicandarts
-Had many couch chats with my angelic being of a roommate @drgracereego
-Found some truly incredible people I am so friggin blessed to call my friends
-Camped a lot, journaled a lot, grew in confidence in meself and in appreciation for the journey!

Not sure how many pages in total this SD chapter is meant to have, but I’m so daggum grateful for every bit so far :’)

Footnote: The only thing missing here is grits, so if you visit….. bring grits 🥄
