This is one of the first photoshoots @julieverspecht ever booked with me.

Julie is a returning client of mine who books a shoot now almost every year. And I want to give a little shout out to her because she’s now starting her own business for training Icelandic horses 🥰

I also want to thank all my other returning clients, because I’m so grateful for the trust each time you guys have in me. There couldn’t be a bigger compliment than a returning customer.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart 🫶🏻🥰

@julieverspecht contacted me for a brandingshoot for her website (she’s a horse trainer, more specifically Icelandic horses).

Aside from the branding photos we also took some portrait photos with the golden hour, which was just so beautiful that evening! I just can’t get over these photos, everything came together that evening. The connection between Julie and her horse, the light, the long grass AND the temperatures were just perfect! Lately it’s been super hot in our little country and we don’t get much of break from the high temperatures, and it’s hard for the horses, especially Icelandic ones.

Beautiful Icelandic horse Hringja owned by @julieverspecht ! I really like those tough little horses, but their names, even though so unique, are the hardest for me to remember or spell correctly 🫢

My horse his name, Hildar, is also one I haven’t heard often. And for some reason, my mother keeps calling him ‘Hilda’ 🤓

Does your horse have a unique name? Or a unique story behind the name? I would love to hear all the unique names or story behind the name! 👇🏽
