Day 2 | Kandy, Sri Lanka 🤍🪷 Golden Hour at Hotel Thilaka

An evening filled with divine energy, peace and beautiful traditions. ✨🙏

Dressed in traditional white, embracing the local customs as we visited a serene Buddhist temple in Kandy.

A beautiful reminder to slow down, connect with our inner selves and simply soak in the spiritual beauty of the moment. 🤍

A little stillness, a little gratitude and so much divine peace. 🕊️✨

Omg love my hair @july.u

Some journeys touch your soul. 🐘❤️

As someone who has always loved animals and works with @dogstrust caring for them is close to my heart. Visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and seeing these gentle giants up close was an incredibly emotional, heartwarming experience, a beautiful reminder of the importance of compassion and protecting these magnificent creatures.

And miles away from Great Britain, an unexpected moment of love and support from fellow Britons made this day even more special. 🇬🇧❤️

Forever grateful to the @mrsuniverseofficial organisers and my national Director @lynettemedina13 for giving me this beautiful memory in Sri Lanka. ✨🐘

Day 3 | Mrs Universe Forum

A presentation close to my heart, addressing a subject we can no longer afford to keep silent about: domestic abuse.

As Mrs Universe Great Britain 2026 and an ambassador for Refuge, I shared my journey of advocacy, the work we have done to break barriers to seeking help, and the importance of creating a world where every woman feels safe, heard and supported without judgement.

As a South Asian woman, an immigrant, and a mother, this cause is deeply personal to me. I want my daughter to inherit the beauty of our culture, the courage to speak up, and the understanding that love should never come with fear.

Every generation passes something on. We can choose what comes next.

Let us pass on courage. Let us pass on compassion. And let silence end with us.

Every journey begins with a goodbye that tugs at your heart and a dream that pulls you forward.

Leaving my whole world behind to chase a dream is never easy, but carrying their love with me makes every step worth it. And then, Sri Lanka welcomed me with so much warmth, reminding me that sometimes, the most beautiful journeys begin with a bittersweet goodbye.

For every dream I chase, my heart always knows where home is.

Brits seldom mean what they say... but sometimes they really do. Here’s how to tell the difference!

In British etiquette, politeness often matters more than literal meaning—sometimes even more than what one truly intends to do.

For instance, “Shall we have a cup of coffee?” is usually just a polite gesture, with no real intention of meeting. But add a concrete detail—“Shall we have a cup of coffee? Would 4 pm on Wednesday suit you?”—and it becomes a genuine invitation.

The same applies to phrases like “We’ll call you back!” (unlikely) versus “We’ll call you back—is this the best number?” (they genuinely mean it).
Still confused about that? Have a cup of tea! Very British!

“Just one last run-through,” she said.

34 seconds of fast-forwarded chaos, countless repetitions and enough laughter to forget we were supposed to be working.

Behind every pageant queen is a coach with the patience of a saint and the dedication of a legend.

Love you, Sofia @sofia.mayerspageantcoaching

Before the sash, there’s home. ❤️

A husband who believes in my dreams, a daughter who makes my world and two little paws who won’t understand why I am gone. 🐾

The fridge is stocked, the meals are made and a thousand little things are taken care of. Because even when you have an amazing partner by your side, leaving home for a dream comes with its own little emotions.

On Saturday, I fly to Sri Lanka to represent Great Britain at Mrs. Universe. 🇬🇧✨

A little nervous. A lot excited. And carrying my whole heart with me.

Because a woman can leave home to chase a dream… without ever leaving her heart behind.
