Meet the lovely Laura @thriftfest 🌸
Wearing the cutest flipflops from @lyninspiration 🍒

"Winner of the Retail Award at the 2025 Twyg Sustainable Fashion Awards, Thrift Fest creates opportunities for circularity and sustainability through regular secondhand clothing markets. What began as a Facebook group in 2012 has bloomed into a travelling market for vendors to sell preloved, upcycled and reworked clothing."

🌱🌼 💚 SPRING INTO A NEW MARKET WITH US, SUNDAY, 4TH OCTOBER at The Range, Tokai, in collaboration with the @thriftfest , where we’ll bring you another ULTIMATE sustainable market experience under the sun 💚🌺🌿

Get your groceries, good food, drinks as well as home and body products from a wonderful variety of small businesses that are excited to share their cruelty-free products and services with YOU. Then when you thought the sustainable experience was over, you pop over to the @thriftfest Stalls to shop from a curated selection of goods (thrift and hand made) right next door to our market!

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU EXPECT?:
🌱 A WIDE variety of delicious vegan food & beverages (sweet AND savory).
🌱Local, handcrafted & cruelty-free home & body products.
🌱 Lots of shade and seating.
🌱Ample parking facilities.
🌱 Play stations and games for the kiddies - all supervised.
🌱A bar with vegan-friendly wines and beers.
🌱 Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards.
🌱 Animal adoption + fostering opportunities.
🌱 Last but not least, ALL THE GOOD VAAAAARBZZZ ☺️

DOGGIES AT THE MARKET:
We love having the doggies at our space, but we ask that you please keep your dog on a leash and outside the main market marquee as they need to be kept away from food, fresh produce, plants and other home & body products. We always suggest bringing a buddy who can sit/walk with your doggie while you browse and vice versa.
The market has always been a safe space for many of us. We want to make sure that it continues to be a safe space for everyone 🤗🌸🌱

Thrifted but make it intentional 🤍🪡

I found these 4 pieces on Jumble and styled them into looks that feel like me. What I love most is how easy it is to shop sustainably without sacrificing style. Everything gets delivered straight to your nearest Courier guy locker which makes the whole experience seamless.

If you’ve been wanting to elevate your wardrobe without overconsumption, this is your sign to start thrifting smarter.

🧚🏾‍♀️The Woolworths skirt was: R150 original price: R500
🧚🏾‍♀️The Rubi Cotton on loafers were: R150 original price: R400
🧚🏾‍♀️The Zara off the shoulder was: R250 original price: R550
🧚🏾‍♀️The Mango Jacket was: R700 original price: R1600

Which look is your favourite 1, 2, 3 or 4?
