Our little family grew a tiny bit bigger this week 🩷 We welcomed our baby girl, Sawyer Kate with open arms (and a few love slaps from Scotty). And she gets to share a birthday with her daddy forever!!

It’s been hard to keep this very big part of our lives off social media the last 9 months, especially in a space where I usually share everything, but it was honestly just what I wanted — a little privacy on this platform. A season to step back, to live it instead of posting it, and to hold something just for us before opening it up to the world.

Feeling so grateful for a healthy baby, a body that carried her, the unmedicated birth I planned for and this new chapter for our family. She is already so deeply loved. Welcome to the world, SK🤍

Looking back at running the marathon 3 years ago and it's the best thing I ever did! It taught me I can do hard things and honestly taught me so much in my next two marathons after that ( growing and having two babies) now the question is ... should we sign up and do the @okcmarathon half this spring? #okc #roadtohalfmarathon #oklahomamemorialmarathon

The Shaker Project is well underway!

Quick backstory: we bought this duplex (first pic — yes, it was occupied) early last year and kicked off the rezoning process right away. That took about five months to get through.

The lot is roughly 7,000 sqft, and we got approved for 7 units and 6 parking spaces. Our goal with this project was to offer a mix of more affordable options and a few larger units compared to our 16-unit building next door.

Here’s the unit mix:
• 2 studios around 450 sqft
• 3 one-beds between 580–610 sqft
• 2 one-beds with a flex space at ~750 sqft

Expected rental rates will range from $1,050–$1,750.

We’re aiming to wrap this up by late September!
