Watching a volcano eruption from the sky is something else 🤯🔥

This happened when we were flying to Guatemala City 🇬🇹 And the volcano that was erupting is called Volcan del Fuego 🌋

We’ve always wanted to see the northern lights from a plane (which hasn’t happened yet), but we never thought we’d see this haha So cool!

What’s the craziest thing you guys have watched from the sky?

We loved Barbados so much! It became our favorite destination in the Caribbean for relaxation 💙

Prices were reasonable for the area (during low season), the island is beautiful, locals are the friendliest we’ve a seen in the Caribbean (and one of the friendliest we’ve seen in the world), the food is great, and overall the country is very laidback. Oh, and Barbados is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. We felt very comfortable and safe all the time. 100% recommend the island! 🇧🇧

We just took a “break” in Rio de Janeiro.. well, it wasn’t really a relaxing break because we had so much to do. A bunch of doctor visits, visa runs, my drivers license renewal.. and besides that we obviously tried to spend as much time as possible with our loved ones.

For those of you who don’t know, I (Carol) am Brazilian. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. That’s where I lived until I was 22.

Chris was born in England and lived in Manchester until he was 19. His mom is Brazilian so he always had a Brazilian passport. When he was 19 he went to Rio for a gap year which never ended. He permanently moved to Rio, got a job and lived there for 6 years. He’s more “Carioca” than me 😂

Rio is where most of our loved ones are so we always come back. We obviously love to travel full time but we also feel that sometimes we’re missing many important moments with our families and friends. This is probably the biggest “con” of our lifestyle.

In the beginning of our travels we didn’t visit Brasil and Portugal (where Chris’s parents live) so much but now we try to do it more often.

And it is always very hard to say goodbye when we don’t know when we’ll be back. Flights to Brazil are expensive and geographically, it’s far from many places that we want to travel to.

But thanks to the internet nowadays we can be a lot “closer” to people so we try to always keep in touch. It’s not the same thing as being together in person, but it’s what we have so we try to be satisfied with that.

Until next time, Brasil! 💚💛🇧🇷

What an epic place! 🤩🇲🇪 Our quick trip to Montenegro started in Kotor - one of the most unique places we’ve seen in Europe!

The fortified town is surrounded by gigantic limestone cliffs ⛰️ But there’s something else that gives Kotor its charm: the cute cats everywhere 🐱 Some even seemed to be enjoying the views. They’re definitely lucky to live in this beautiful place 😍
