$⚪️⚫️ NKC R2 ⚫️⚪️ - Friday - Free practice Good day overall, having decent pace throughout. - Saturday - Free practice & Heat 1 Another mostly successful day testing with a few minor mishaps. Ending the day with a carnage but solid first heat, going from 26th to 12th, then back down to 15th on track. - Sunday - Race day Wasn't the start to race day that we were hoping for after getting hit off again on the first corner from the front row for my second heat. This hindered the rest of our day to an extent. We made a decent comeback in our third heat going from 14th to 8th, then back to 10th. This had lined us up for p6 for the B final and from there we battled hard, getting up to p3 but soon after dropping a place with a questionable move from another driver to cross the line p4 and to secure my spot in the A final. From p33, we could only manage a p26 finish after a slow start to the race. - The incident in the second heat affected our weekend, but despite this, we still made it into the A final and moved forward. Overall, it was a good weekend, but it could have been even better if we had a bit more luck on our side. - Massive thank you to @roalf_racing for the continuous help & support as always, @kr_sport_engines for the immense power and @scenicbrotherhoodracing for the top job on the spanners. - 📸 @stustretton_media - #nationalkartcup #fulbeckkartcircuit #racereport #nevergiveup #roalfracing #sullydesigns #krracingengines #rennworksltd #comebacksoon$

Amazing day 1 @nationalkartcup!!!

Our first time at the NKC and what an event and what a day. @tobias_j_karting sent it to a finishing position of 19th in Heat 1 from 29th on the grid. Making 10 places as the only novice in Junior Max we are super happy.

Let’s see what day 2 brings 😊

$🔵 NKC R1 🔵 - Saturday - Free practice Good day, getting used to being back on the maxxis tire again whilst finding a setup for Sunday. Come the very end of the day, it didn't feel too bad. - Sunday - Race day No warm-up or qualifying, going straight into the first heat with random grids. Had an OK start but struggled with grip, and Kart set up all race long. Despite this, I still gained a few positions from 23rd on the grid. Heat two definitely should have gone a lot better than it did after taking the lead of the race from fifth after a huge lap one incident. But then again, having to deal with continued setup issues meant I had no chance of what could have been a heat win and could only manage a top ten finish in the end. There's not much to say about heat 3 after the kart not starting on the dummy grid having to work my way back through from the back. Then, after missing out on the A final by two points, I was span round on the first corner from pole in the B final. - This wasn't really the weekend I was hoping for, going into this, but nevertheless, there are always positives to take away from it, and we go again next month for round 2 at Fulbeck. - Big thank you to @roalf_racing for the help & support as always, @ryanmicallef71 for the data, @kr_sport_engines for the outrageous power and @scenicbrotherhoodracing for the funding and the mega job on the spanners. - 📸 @stustretton_media - #nationalkartcup #forestedgekartclub #raceweekend #racereport #nevergiveup #roalfracing #sullydesigns #rennworksltd #krracingengines$
