Personally I think Justin Townes Earle wrote a song that matches the quality of Woody Guthrie. He wrote this song after reading Guthrie’s autobiography because he was a huge admirer, understandably!

I hope you like this video, it was tons of fun playing it!

I can't believe it's been three years since we first uploaded a video with Boris's sister Fenna. We thought we'd try 4 + 20 again.
This song appears on one of the best and popular albums of the country folk movement in the 60s and 70s “Déjà Vu”. This song is written by Stephen Stills. It’s a beautiful little song and we thought it would be great to sing the three-part harmony for this video.

Fenna has just released her first single with her group Junebug. So if you'd like to hear it, check out via @junebugband !

TRUE STORY

24 JUNI KOMT ONZE DEBUUT EP ‘break a leg’ UIT!!!

Tomorrow, May 12, Skatecafe hosts True Story: a graduation night where four acts bring their own story to the stage.

The night opens with The Set. Three voices, three guitars and harmonies that pull you straight in. What started as a school project inspired by boygenius now lives as intimate acoustic folk that lingers.

Next up is Junebug. A duo that met by chance in the studio, turning the thoughts and worries of your twenties into dreamy, gentle songs. Their sound moves between the weight of reality and the romance in small moments.

Third on the bill is Lois Ava, playing her first full band show. With lyrics as honest as diary entries and a sound that feels warm and familiar, this is a set you settle into without thinking twice.

Closing the night is Hyla, stepping up with a new vocalist. Expect a hard-hitting blend of progressive metal, complex riffs and atmospheric soundscapes: intense, layered and fully immersive.

Four acts. Four stories. Tomorrow, live.
