An introduction to our founder, Laszlo. Online, many people know him as a music artist and music producer, but not so much as the great creative director and team leader that he is as well. We thought we’d see if we could change his mind and show people the other side to him, too.

I recently had the pleasure of tattooing the Hare Mantra along @junglelaz’s clavicles. 1st session done, 2nd session soon! 🙌🏻✨

About The Hare Mantra

The Hare Krishna Mahā-mantra is an ancient Sanskrit mantra rooted in the Vaishnava tradition of India. Its origins are traditionally traced to the Kali-Santarana Upanishad, and it was later widely propagated by the 16th-century saint Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as a practice of devotion, purification and spiritual remembrance.

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna,
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,
Hare Rama, Hare Rama,
Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

The mantra invokes the divine names of Krishna and Rama, with Hare referring to the divine energy or power of the Divine. Within the tradition, repeatedly chanting these names is believed to purify consciousness, dispel negative influences and create a spiritual sense of protection and connection.

For some devotees, the mantra is more than something to recite — having it permanently tattooed onto the body becomes a personal spiritual talisman and daily reminder. Those who choose to receive the mantra as a tattoo may do so as an expression of devotion, an intention of protection, or a commitment to carrying its vibration and meaning with them wherever they go.

The tattoo itself is not considered a substitute for the practice: many choose to recite the mantra regularly while carrying its sacred words on their body, combining the physical symbol with the spiritual practice.
