Something special is unfolding...

Welcome to Journey, a holistic space created for HER by real lived experience. A dedicated space for women’s holistic healing, access to services, designed to support your mind, body, and spirit.

Through my healing journey, I’ve learnt some very special truths and have met some incredible people along the way. In reflecting on my many forms of therapy- what has worked and hasn’t worked for me, I saw that the intersection between my experience as as a woman and the services I was trying to access didn’t exist. The spaces for “belonging” and “becoming” were too far apart. I needed to close that gap or at least try. You never fully arrive to a healed state, it is an ever evolving journey, I invite you on this path with me. I can’t wait to share what I’ve been building for you.

Sometimes healing starts when the mask comes off.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all and it isn’t always the traditional sit-down-and-talk approach. Healing can take many forms. It’s about finding what helps you feel, process and move forward.

“Just Hold On”, story and directed by @jungleofspells Nidal Saeed, one of my favourite projects to have worked on and grateful to have work with Nidal

For: afrOURban, Black Diasporas Exhibition
@afrourban.art

An overview of the piece:
The short film Just Hold On, directed and produced by Nidal Saeed, with cinematography and editing by Elena Ricupero-Pizzata, is an evocative piece featured in the 2025 Black Diasporas Exhibition at the Boola Bardip Museum of WA, curated by Afro Urban Art. Through the intimate voice of Nidal’s father, Saeed, the film reveals the raw, transformative experiences of his family’s journey from Sudan to Australia via Egypt. Saeed’s vulnerable reflections offer a powerful glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of migration in search of refuge. Centering on Nidal, her mother Nahid, and her father, the film poignantly explores the emotional and cultural nuances of starting anew in a foreign land—one with its own history of colonization and invasion—capturing the spirit of resilience and hope.
