XP Day 2
I had the Absolute Pleasure of Seeing all these Talented people and friends.
And I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the HUNNA Gathering, with absolute delights and massive talents, and one of my highlights of it seeing the massively Talented @linasleibiofficial and her haunting Rendition of Helwa Ya Balady.
And seeing the lovely, and classy @abeernehme and the talk was great :)
And my new favorite band @junipersclub and they were an absolute powerhouse.
And my highlight was seeing my Sister @fulanawho killing it, I feel privileged to Be among them all.

Day 2 of XP Music Futures went from Al-Qatar’s Arabian Fuzz (see them in Jan at both globalFEST in NY and Tamaas Fest at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi), to bailefunk via Cairo from Rajia, to a rocking show from UAE dreampop duo WYWY (bringing great DIY stagecraft) to dance ciphers and hip-hop from T9 and Ysn Lowkey, to indie pioneer Zeid Hamdan & Maii Waleed, Iggy & the Stooges covers by Anomally Records founder and Trip Loon’s Talal joining Al-Qasar, to indie-pop from Bahrain’s Juniper’s Club and Beirut’s Sandmoon. Some strong panels on curator’s views on how to get booked at festivals, developing a live music scene and music journalism. I’ve added some street scenes for the weekend late night vibe as well.
