There are works that stop you mid-scroll.
Not because they’re loud — because they’re certain.

This is that selection.

Portraits that hold their ground. Figures that carry history without explanation. Colour built with intention, not decoration. Compositions that ask more of you than a passing glance.

Each work in this edit comes from a different place — geographically, culturally, formally.

What unites them is harder to name. You’ll recognise it when you see it.
All pieces are part of our Spring Promo — up to 40% off.
Not a compromise. An invitation.

Explore the collection now live. Link in bio.

#INTERSECTIONS5 | Our last exhibition in Angola was more than a moment — it was a gathering of voices, bodies, and stories reclaiming space through art.

Across painting, photography, and mixed media, artists transformed the exhibition into a living conversation about identity, memory, and presence. What emerged wasn’t spectacle, but connection — between artists and audiences, past and future, intimacy and collective experience.

This project reaffirmed why Afrikanizm exists:
to create platforms where Black and African contemporary art is not only shown, but felt, discussed, and carried forward.

Luanda responded.
The artists spoke.
The stories moved.
