If you caught our IG Live today, we had a real conversation about the direction the hair industry is heading.
As hair professionals, we have to act the part and BE professional.
Self-education is great. I’m all for it, because I taught myself a lot of what I know. But please, if you are unsure of a technique or system, do not practice it on a live head. Get a mannequin. Do the application. Do the removal. Once you have it down pat, THEN start doing it on clients.

My client had to cut all of her hair off because of an improper K-Tip application and removal. The glue was left behind, and there was no saving it.

I’m LOVING @kayy2cuteemua’s new look 😍 but the road to get here didn’t have to be this way.

HAIR REVIVAL... AGAIN!!!

Meet @deefigaro_
She has some of the most beautiful hair, but her work-life balance?
Not so balanced.

She keeps promising to show up at MY salon once a month. Honestly, once a quarter would work for what her hair needs to stay on its Healthy Hair Journey.

We’re getting there.
Here’s what I told her, and I’m sharing because I know it can help someone:
- Get your iron and vitamin D levels checked
- Stress less
- Take that trip to Brooklyn (she knows😅)
- Be mindful of the braiding and weaving hair you’re using
- Less gel
- No Got2B. I said what I said!!!

And of course, her hair still came out magical. She asked for the 90s layers and we DELIVERED.
