POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is the most complete stage adaptation of this story I’ve seen so far! According to @albernardgarcia , the production even performed some of the show’s hidden tracks, which made the story feel even more complete. ✨
And you can really see how much thought and effort went into the stage design. You’ll absolutely be blown away the moment you step into the theater! ✨🎭
As a classic story, this is definitely a production worth watching! ❤️
Happy opening week! 🎭 The show will continue running next week, so be sure to check it out! 👀

CAST PH’s 2026 Staged Readings
RE-ORIENT: Narratives from Asian Voices

Play #1: “English” by Sanaz Toossi 🎭
Directed by: Miss @sarah.facuri 👏🏻

My favourite thing about this staged reading, was the way they delivered the language. When the actors spoke English WITHOUT an accent, this implied they were speaking ‘Farsi’, and when they were speaking English WITH an accent, it meant they were speaking ‘English’. 🙌🏻

It’s not just about learning a language; it’s also about the courage it takes to speak, to fail, and to keep trying. It’s a moving reminder that behind every accent is a history, and behind every word spoken is a longing to be seen.

What a perfect way to start my 2026 theater ganaps... A warm congratulations, @cast_ph! 1/4 ✨
