Three things people overlook whilst in the gym.

Footwear… this is so important, buying these fancy bare foot, toe showing or high heel Nikes are super cool (not) but if you have flat feet you’re going to put a lot of pressure on your ankles leading to shin splints/ calf injuries and more. Don’t follow trends please and wear stable ankle supported trainers/shoes.
.
Hydration 💦
Basic 101.. take a bottle of water or juice or something not filled with copious amounts of sugar that’s going to dehydrate you, it might give you a buzz for the session but will put you in a hydration deficit after that.
Sweat salt is a result of the body’s process of salt removal to maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure.0 Sweat is mostly composed of water, but it also contains a small amount of salt (sodium) and other essential minerals known as electrolytes.
These need to be replaced after loosing them etc after a gym workout or a game of sorts.
.
Whilst going to the gym is also important for your mental health this can easily flip and turn into more hassle because now you’re tied into a contract you don’t want anymore.
When you start your fitness journey have small goals, they’re your goals so you don’t have to shout about them or compare yourselves to others.

If you need a hand with your training or have an injury or weakness drop me or @george_evanspt a message, we can get you on the right path!

‼️ injuries happen but do they keep happening?
No it’s not unlucky you keep pulling your calf or your hamstring.

A few things could be the result of that..
1. Shit technique
2. Weaknesses in the body
3. Working to hard and not recovering enough
4. Poor diet

Take your head out your a** and realize you may have a weakness, short term fixes = short term results.

Get your body checked and realise your weaknesses are an opportunity to get better and compete for longer 🫡
