THE CULTURAL DERBY IS BACK

Soundset Sunday made its official return on 13 September at Victoria Yards in Joburg, the community pulled up in full force.

We caught up with Zanokuhle Maseko, who was just as excited to have the Sunday escape back. And, of course, we had to capture some of the beautiful faces in the crowd because the Soundset demographic? Too much.

The people, the looks, the music, the energy.. this is how Sundays are meant to feel.

ARCHIVE & NEW BALANCE BRING THE 950 TO SOUTH AFRICA WITH A CELEBRATION OF BASKETBALL, CULTURE & COMMUNITY

@archivesa and @newbalance introduced the all-new 950 to South Africa with an intimate Joburg launch that celebrated the intersection of sport, style and culture.

Inspired by classic mid-1980s court silhouettes, the 950 reimagines basketball design through a contemporary lens, bridging performance, craftsmanship and everyday wear.

The evening was brought to life through curated conversations with Joburg Giants captain and South Africa’s No. 1 FIBA 3x3 player, @dimnino , who reflected on how discipline, resilience and community continue to shape both his journey and the culture surrounding the game.
