Last week I had the privilege of joining the @jamma_initiative x @prohoopsd Next Gen Skills Camp to speak on the Community Leaders Panel, sharing my journey to the next generation of South Sudanese Australian hoopers ❤️🏀

Growing up, representation mattered. Seeing people who looked like you achieve their dreams makes those dreams feel possible. It’s always an honour to give back to the community that has shaped me and to remind young people that their story, culture and potential are their greatest strengths.

A huge thank you @dkuany23 Uncle Michael, and the entire team Jamma for the incredible work they continue to do, supporting South Sudanese young people and their families through education, employment, connection and a genuine sense of belonging. The future is bright, and I can’t wait to see what this next generation achieves.

Six months of 2026 - started uni with a bang - made new friends - got a new look - started working for charity/non-profits - and most of all being with people who are there for me
