Awesome drift today with my Dad and our friend, Brandon. We took it up a notch with our rowing practice and were rewarded with some beautiful, hungry native trout!

Sweet summer trout bummin. First redside ever. Biggest catch day outside of AK fishing, most competent I’ve felt. The fishing mojo was 🔥 and the company for the ride made it all the more fun.

Are salmonflies cool, cute, or creepy?

We had an awesome day out with Captain Brandon @justanotherdrifter

Every time I think I know what I’m doing, Brandon teaches me something new. He is an excellent resource for our local waterways and such a great guy to hang out with on a boat with for hours (as long as it’s not on the ocean).

Bonus baby ducks at the end of the pictures!

Ditched the McKenzie for some pre-spawn smallmouth. Worth it. @justanotherdrifter thanks for putting me in the right spot, the wisdom, and the flies.
