DIY ALCOHOL INK 🎨 on CEMENT tray with resin🤩

Love this technique 💕🫶, it’s inspired by my friend Alicja @justbecausepanda 💋! Be sure to check ✅✅✅ her out 🤩

This alcohol ink painting DIY could really be done on just about any tray to make your own matching decor ✨✨✨

I used black polyurethane resin as the base on top of my cement tray! It’s from @specialtyresins 💝, and it makes the most amazing “canvas” for alcohol ink painting 🖼️

I also received an amazing selection of metal inclusions from @advancedmetallics 🤩 that I have been eager to play with! Wow did that take this piece up a notch. So elegant and classy 💎💎💎

This beautiful mold comes from @shopresinmolds 🥰🥰🥰

Alcohol ink artist @justbecausepanda - “The magical process of painting with alcohol inks! This time on a canvas covered in black gesso. Thanks to gesso inks don’t get absorbed into canvas but rather move on top of it, blending and creating new shades of colours 🫶 I have decided to go into greens and gold this time. Enjoy the process!”

❄️ Resin ist eine Frostbeule! 🔥

Wer friert schon gern? Eben. Resin auch nicht. 🥶

••••••••••••••

❄️ Resin Doesn’t Like the Cold! 🔥

Nobody likes freezing, right? Well, resin doesn’t either! 🥶
But don’t worry—cold temperatures during shipping or storage won’t ruin it.

If it gets really chilly, you might notice crystals forming in your resin. ❄️
That’s totally normal! And the good news? It’s super easy to fix. ✨

Storing your resin in a cold spot? Suddenly seeing tiny crystals? 😨 No need to panic!

💡 Here’s how to fix crystallized resin:

👉 Place the container somewhere warm, like on a heater. 🔥 60°C (140°F) is perfect!
🚫 Microwave or oven? Nope—bad idea!

Cool science, right? Now warm it up and get back to creating your resin art! 🎨💜

Several weeks ago, an amazing artist, Alicja @justbecausepanda demonstrated how to create a jellyfish using an airbrush tool! I loved it so much and have been wanting to give it a try!!

Watch as flowing blue hues and delicate tendrils come together to create this beautiful jellyfish🪼

The golden accents add the perfect touch of shimmer! What do you think?
