This past weekend I turned 30 years old! I thought I would be sad as I exit my 20’s, but I’ve got to say that every single day seems to be better than the last. I’m very thankful for health and a second chance at being the best version of myself. My wife threw a big party and I got to see all of my favorite people in one place and it was incredible. As we get older and we carry more and more responsibility, it is so easy to lose sight of what is important. While chasing after your goals and managing life is so important, the reason I pursue all of these things comes down to two things. I want to love God and love people. There are so many people in my life that have supported me, my wife, and my kids. I want to be in the best position to give them that same level of support by showing up as the best version of myself every single day. It was also a very special day as my biological sister and cousin got to meet my family that raised me into the man I am today. As I enter my 30’s, I feel I am better positioned to be the best husband, father, and friend to all those around me than I ever have been before. It also helps when you have a wife that is absolutely incredible and so full of love and grace every single day. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support, here’s to the best decade ever 🤘🏻
