Beyond excited to see Roosevelt Stewart again at The Ryman and see Tauren Wells for the first time (other than the Doves). They call the Ryman the “Mother Church” and I have a feeling we are going to have some church tonight. This is the last of our music events for a bit and when we jump in we sure do jump in. Now we need some recovery time. But Ella said it was totally worth every second.

Ella had made some pearler bead crafts and of course some of her kindness bracelets, and had dreams of giving them to Seye who is the bass player for Gorillaz and the band. I reached out to Seye a few weeks ago and to my greatest surprise he reached back. We had zero expectations of meeting him or the band, but had asked to be able to perhaps hand off a little package to security. What is noteworthy about these exchanges is number one that they even happened and number two the kindness and encouragement that Seye offered to Ella. And while we could not find the person he told us to find and all hope was lost (which we were totally OK with because it was still the most happy night), one of the crew members turned around and handed Ella the set list and we were able to hand him the package. THE SETLIST!!!! She is beyond beyond elated! I mean to put this into context there has been discussions on how to preserve it best and where it is going to hang and how we can hang it without damaging it. She wrote such a nice letter to the band all by herself and their music clearly means a lot to her. I see her becoming quite the activist lately with causes she believes in and I am definitely giving some of that credit to Gorillaz (don’t ever get her started on AI unless you want a full education on how it is damaging to the earth’s resources and the animals).

Thank you @seyemusic for your kindness and pour. We think you are awesome!!! ❤️🫶🏻🎸

Happy belated birthday to one of the greatest gifts 2026 has given me. ❤️

September 30 was Jenn’s birthday, and I genuinely don’t think I could ever fully explain how thankful I am that this year brought her into my life. Meeting Jenn has been one of the absolute BEST parts of 2026. Some people come into your life and you just know you’re better because they’re in it, and Jenn is one of those people for me.

Jenn loves people so incredibly well. She has this way of making people feel welcomed, wanted, included, and like they belong. She opens her heart and makes room for people, and that means more to me than I can explain.

One of my favorite things about Jenn is watching how much she loves her children. And I have to say it — she seriously has the BEST children in the universe. 😂❤️ I love them so much. The love in their family is something really special, and I feel so lucky that they have welcomed me too.

Jenn is inviting, welcoming, and so inclusive. She notices people. She makes sure nobody feels like they are standing on the outside looking in. She has made me feel comfortable being myself and has shown me so much kindness in such a short amount of time.

When I think about the GOOD that came from 2026, Jenn is immediately one of the first things I think about. I didn’t know this year was going to bring me a friend who would become so important to me, make me laugh, make me feel included, and remind me how special it is when God puts the right people in your life at the right time.

Jenn, I hope you know how loved you are and how much your kindness matters. I’m so thankful for every conversation, every laugh, every memory, and every moment I’ve gotten to spend with you and your amazing family.

Happy birthday, Jenn! 🥹❤️ You deserve to be celebrated so much. Thank you for loving people the way you do. Thank you for including me. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my year.

I love you so much, Jen. Meeting you has genuinely been one of the very best parts of 2026. ❤️🎂🥳 @justbekindbraceletsbyella

We met Loretta just over three years ago through “the bracelet post” and her and her husband Jeff became such a support for our family. We miss Jeff so….most especially Jacob who used to game with him regularly. It gave me a much needed break and he got some guy time in with a great man who taught him about manners, God and was just a really nice friend to him. And even in her proufound grief and loss, Loretta continues to make bracelets so Ella can continue spreading love and kindness to others. Now we have a little stash and the pressure is off. Thank you @tinker4toys. We love and miss you.

We spent some time this summer making some new crosses and thrifting for gems. One of our favorite things to do when we go visit our friends in Wisconcin is to do a craft day and visit Ella’s favorite craft store called Hello Happiness. Most things are 10 cents but you have to dig! Ella is a bit behind on bracelets these days but she did just hit her goal of handing out 8,000 kindness and anti-bullying bracelets. It has been exactly 3 years since she started and God just had a plan for her we could have never imagined. Thanks for following along on our journey. We love our community here.

Today our little Maverick turns one. He is such a joy and came to us on God’s perfect timing. He is also a little troublemaker. No one can even turn on a faucet around here without him getting involved. He also loves to play with ice cubes. Hair ties are his favorite toy and we have to hide them or he steals them all. He has become a faithful friend. We love you Mav!
