RISE: CABARET - WHAT A SHOW! 🎭✨

What an incredible night in Sydney’s stunning Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, celebrating our amazing WSDA students in the latest season of RISE - The Performance Experience! ❤️

Rocky, Ethan, Kobi, Mia, Dakota and Zara learnt an entire TWO-HOUR production in just ONE WEEK and performed to a SOLD-OUT audience! From the choreography and powerhouse vocals to the musical theatre and spectacular production!! WOW 🤯

A special shout-out to our beautiful Zara, who has been with RISE since the beginning and stepped into her new role as Dance Captain, alongside our fabulous Teen Team Leaders Mia and Ethan, and Senior Team Leader Rocky! Watching our WSDA student teachers grow into such incredible young leaders makes me so proud! 🥹

A huge thank you to founder @jackieannescott and the entire RISE team. The confidence, connection, wellbeing and safe, supportive environment you create for young performers is something truly special, and we’re so proud to be part of it! ❤️

And what a treat seeing Mr Wil’s former Sydney Showboat colleague @debkrizak absolutely bring the house down with Rose’s Turn from Gypsy! Musical theatre royalty! 👏

Big love to our dance families and Leilua, Libbie and Layla for coming to support!

Even the dance parents got involved in their own version of our famous WSDA viral comp videos! 😂

So much talent, so much heart and SO many proud moments!

WE LOVE RISE! ❤️✨

🌍✨ NINE YEARS OLD & ALREADY DANCING HER WAY AROUND THE WORLD!

DAY 25 OF 30!! DAKOTA SPOTLIGHT 💫

One of our gorgeous Junior Elites, Dakota, has just returned from an incredible adventure representing WSDA at Dance in Rome 🇮🇹 after receiving a scholarship to train with some of the world’s leading educators!

From training across LA 🇺🇸 to Italy 🇮🇹, with a little Paris magic thrown in 🇫🇷… this little superstar is only NINE and already building a pretty incredible story 🥹✨

What we love most? Dakota and her mum stay focused on their journey, their opportunities and what’s right for them - something we always encourage our dancers to do 😍
Your path is YOUR path 💛

So… where does Dakota want to dance next? 👀🌎

Watch to find out! ✈️✨

We are feeling incredibly humble & “proud” of this guy! …to be one of 4 students from Yr 5 chosen and invited to GATS - “Gifted and Talent Student” workshop challenge today.

I guess your self-driven “passions” for science, tech, innovation and maths are opening up and creating wonderful opportunities. Your appreciation for life, and evolution is so inspiring, …your conversations enlighten and “light up” the world every single day. 🌏

Keep being who you want to be, and doing whatever your doing!…

Love Mum & Dad xx
