Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday to the sold out event and showed love and support. It meant a lot.

The talk was to promote my comic book WINTA and announce that Book 2 drops in January. But really, it was about sharing who I am and a simple message: believe in yourself enough to go after whatever it is you want to do. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else, and it doesn’t have to happen fast. You just have to keep showing up for it. I’m fortunate and blessed to have people in my life who support and encourage me, and that makes a big difference. At the end of the day though, it starts with you believing it’s possible. The more you believe in yourself, the more people will believe in you.

To those who couldn’t make it, we’ll be doing more of these in the new year, so you’ll have more chances to attend a conversation.

To my brother @harryjulmice thank you for hosting. It felt like one of our usual conversations, just with a few more people in the room.

@kaz_theman thank you for having us at @cantinova.cafe and letting us use your space and making sure everyone was comfortable and relaxed.

@sach.id_ thank you for your vision and your ability to always capture the moment.

@byjoannache & @theausingulier thank you for your constant support and special thanks for your help running the event and making sure everything ran smoothly.

For anyone out there sitting on an idea, or something you’ve been carrying in your heart, believe in it. Only you know what’s right for you. It might be worth trying just to see where it takes you. The time will pass anyway.

Thanks again, I appreciate you all.
