I always got the “no” and was constantly overlooked at castings for Miami Swim Week. The first time I walked was when I decided to create my own agency and literally cast/submit myself. I decided to stop waiting for an opportunity and create one instead.🤍✨

Together with my business partner, Justin, and our incredible team, we built our own production. Today, we get to be the “yes” for the girls who were once told “no.” Because sometimes the only way to open a door is to build one yourself. What a difference happiness makes!!
As I wrap fashion week I am so grateful for this experience. I needed a reason to push myself. I needed a reason to believe in me again. I needed to learn to be kind, and gentle, and patient with myself to earn back my trust. Self love is a life long commitment. This season I challenged my body goals modeling for the first time in the “plus/curve” category on the run way a title I had hid from my whole life! Then modeling without my biggest asset (my face) challenged my ego and my body to find new inventive ways to catch eyes and show details with the new shapes created through runway movement. Of course it’s not a solely physical experience, though the long hours back stage are a fun and familiar sacrifice, being able to be just a small part of this event was such a breath of fresh air. I love my position @nwacamp but what an exhilarating experience to not be calling the shots for once! I’ve learned so much about myself, my medium, and my community. An experience to remember!! Stepping into this fall season I am anxious for what’s to come bc I know it’s gonna be big🤩

Absolutely speechless. KCFW was a dream come true. I never imagined myself here. I thought runway was well behind me at my age and size. It had been 5 years since I blessed the runway, and a hell of a welcome back this show was 💛 we had such interesting and surprising talent and the most welcoming and supportive staff!! I was so fortunate to have gotten the perfect pairing of stylists and designers to put me together this weekend showing the city two completely different sides of myself. The deeper I dive into this industry the more I am challenged, amazed, and inspired. Next stop, spring auditions #kcfw
