POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A lot of couples planning their destination wedding in Mexico are sure they want a live band to help them celebrate (obvio!) 🎸🎤🥁 Here are some things you should consider:

1. Your wedding is about YOU and it’s about telling YOUR story. A generic plug-and-play setlist just doesn’t do the trick. Your bandleader should try to get to know you, understand your musical preferences, and be able to transmit YOUR vibe musically ✨

2. Weather here in Puerto Vallarta can be unpredictable. Waves can be loud. Hey, the birds can be loud! 🦜You want a band with experience dealing with these conditions who can adapt, regardless of what nature has in store that day.

3. Reading the room is sooooo important. You want a band that can change things up on the fly, and that comes with years of experience and good taste. Adjusting feels, volumes, styles, etc. when the moment calls for it is key to creating a great wedding music experience 🎵

4. Here’s where a lot of bands fall short…transitions are KEY. They’ve gotta be so seamless that no one even notices when they happen. The first dances finish and within seconds the night kicks off with an all out banger that gets everyone on their feet dancing. That’s the kind of transition you want, not awkward fumbling and dead time ☝🏻

What else do YOU consider important? Tell us in the comments below ☺️
