"Better to be punished by the Six, than suffer at the hands of the Hellwalker."

Once again really proud of this fan trailer I made for @doom : The Dark Ages - Revelations. This one is about the 'Praetor Encounters'.

Music is 'Valley Of Bone' by @finishingmoveinc / Remixed by my good friend @thedinosaurheretic

QuakeCon Memories

QuakeCon isn’t just a gaming event—it’s a place where you meet incredibly talented, passionate, and amazing people. ❤️

I got these amazing posters from a truly wonderful person, @justgoodnotgreat . You can see so much talent and passion in his art, and I absolutely love his work.

I was lucky enough to get some of the posters signed by DOOM developers, and one of them signed by the amazing artist who designed many iconic DOOM characters—and whose father, Don Ivan Punchatz, created the legendary classic DOOM cover art, George “Geo” Punchatz.

I absolutely love these posters! Now I just need to figure out the perfect way to display them and make them glow even more. 🔥

Thank you, @justgoodnotgreat for the amazing work and for making my QuakeCon experience even more special! ❤️🤘#doom #idsoftware #retrogaming #quakecon2026

So cool to take pics with a few of the DOOMtubers and DOOM community members!

In order from Left to Right: DoomGuyAV's son, DoomGuy AV, RipNTear Gaming, TravGuy, ANONYMOUS BY REQUEST, Allstin, IconOfSimp, myself, Ben Oldfield, JUSTGOODNOTGREAT, SneakyJaycool, Brax, not too sure who the last person is (apologies)

And BossRanker who asked the devs to sign his shirt is. That's the first time I got to sign a shirt I think. Super fun!

Really proud of this latest 'Master Arenas' fan-trailer I made for @doom the dark ages - Revelations. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did making it.

This was my first QuakeCon, and honestly, I wasn’t even sure I was going to make it. I remember telling my son, “We may go… or we may not.” 😂

All I knew was that I wanted my son to live the dream. We bought the fan tickets first, but I hadn’t even booked our flights or hotel yet. I wasn’t even sure if I would be able to get tickets for a photo with the id Software co-founders.

So I told my son, “We’re going to QuakeCon just to have fun. No matter what happens, I want to be there with you and experience everything together.”

Then my amazing friend Bradley Hodges came along. We had never met in person before, but we shared the same love and passion for DOOM. Bradley helped me so much, sharing his QuakeCon experience and guiding me through everything. From that moment on, everything just fell into place.

And somehow, those uncertain plans turned into the best four days of my life—and my son’s too. ❤️

Seeing my son so excited and happy was something I’ll never forget. At one point, he looked at me and said, “Dad, I don’t want to go back to Virginia!” 😂

I told him, “Well… I have a job, and you have a mom and a sister waiting for us, so unfortunately, we have to go back!” 😂😂

But honestly, those four days felt like a dream.

To the entire QuakeCon team, everyone working behind the scenes, all the fans, friends, gamers, developers, the id Software co-founders, and of course Marty, Hugo, and Josh—thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You all gave my son and me something far more valuable than just four days at a gaming convention. You gave us four days filled with love, friendship, excitement, laughter, and memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.

My first QuakeCon will always be special—not only because of the games and the legends I finally got to meet, but because I got to experience it all with my son.

Thank you, QuakeCon. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who made these four unforgettable days possible.

*Until next time… frag on! 🤘🔥
