POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s crazy to think it’s been almost an entire year since I’ve last posted. To be honest I went into this just wanting to be an update on how life has been (and it’s been great). But I want to say a lot more that is on my heart. In the last year, there has been a lot of change. New job opportunities, being more involved in church, graduating college, new friends and “family” (not by blood but by ✝️). But more-so a change from where I was. So, let’s be transparent. A little while ago I had given up social media. That time was great because it removed the distractions so I could grow in the Lord. Now that I’m back, I want there to be a shift that represents who I am now vs who I was. I’ll be honest, not too long ago I did not like who I was. Sure I was doing “good” by the world’s standards, but I was spiritually sick. Going through the motions while still struggling in sin (lust, anger, greed, etc.) and I hated every second of it. As I continued to grow with God, I was able to identify what led to these issues, heal from past wounds, and slowly become the man I wanted to be. A man who, instead of lusting, loves wholeheartedly. A man slow(er) to anger. A man not desiring the things of this world. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. The whole reason I’m making this is to show how imperfect I am. And yet, God still moved in my life, and brought me out of that pit of darkness. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” I Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. If you are a believer reading this, continue to grow closer to the Lord. Continue to be Christ-like, loving not only your neighbor but your enemies as well. If you are a nonbeliever reading this, it isn’t too late to give your life to Christ. If you have breath, then you have that chance. DMs are open if you need me❤️

“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV
