I’m pleased to learn that “Michael Solace” has been accepted into @rocktheshortsfilmfest in LA. Having previously attended, I can safely say this is one of my favorite festivals. So, it’s very exciting to be part of it again and in the heart of Hollywood. A big congratulations to everyone involved.

This weekend was a whirlwind. I had the pleasure of attending the 5th annual #SpringLaneFilmFestival in Sanford, North Carolina where “Michael Solace” screened. The film not only got a solid reception but I was honored to have been awarded the Spring Lane Hall of Fame award which is given to a filmmaker who demonstrates a dedication, commitment, and continuously making new contributions to independent film. The icing on the cake was meeting new and incredible filmmakers from that area and around the world who are amazingly talented.

I must thank the entire cast and crew of the film who made it possible as without them there is no film. They make it possible. I must also thank Jared Campbell and the judges of the festival who recognized our film. It was a blast to attended and cannot recommend it enough.

More festival news to share for “Michael Solace.” I’m pleased to share that we’ve been accepted into the New Bedford Film Festival and the Jersey Shore Film Festival, where we’re being considered an Elite Selection. A huge congrats to everyone involved. This was a fun, but also challenging, film to make but the cast and crew made it possible, and I’m incredibly proud.

Just some of the behind the scenes photos from the making of “Michael Soalce.” This was easily one of my favorite films to make with the best cast and crew anyone could ask for. There were challenges that pushed me in the best way as a director cannot thank this talented team enough.

We’re screening next week as part of Winterdance 2025!

This past summer, I made my latest #shortfilm, “Michael Solace,” a thriller. This was a brilliant script by @kristofersalvi that spoke to me immediately. It was one of the more challenging films I made but in the best way. The trailer will be released on Monday at 7pm. Enjoy this poster by the brillaint @causaredesign.

November was a whirlwind 🌬️🌪️ 🫧 so many wonderful things to speak of I have so much gratitude for: celebrated another year around the sun and tore up the dance floor in a way that would make ABBA proud, creative/ acting projects every weekend, putting out my first single and directing my first music video, dressing up in a suit of armor, sweet friends made on set of Dissection Day that remind me why I love doing what I do, Katniss Everdeen moments caught on film and made possible by @francoraguirre , and moments surrounded by friends that make life worth living. Here’s to more!🥂
