Racing in Kona is so much more than the race. It's about the time with friends and family in the days before and after, in a place full of energy in every sense. 🌋
This time Lucci traveled (for the first time) alone, a few days ahead of the rest of the family, just to spend time with me. It made this trip extra special. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who made this possible: my family @reginavalos , my coach @justindaerr , my ROKA teammates @roka_stndrd_racing , and all the Mexican athletes and supporters, @alina.hanschke.b @serrano_tri @irina_requena @enriquelifra to mention some.
A special thanks to Doug @litldog and Gino @ginocinco_pt for working on my injury all week. We made it! 👊

2026 Ötillö World Championships, 20th Anniversary✅

A headwind from start to finish set the pace for an extremely challenging and hard day across the Swedish Archipelago. The terrain delivered as we remembered but with a punishing twist. Overall @jacobgilden and I are extremely happy with how things played out and how this new season of life has brought us new training challenges and demands, yet we have risen to find a new level of strength, confidence, and love. At one point we sang one of Emma’s favorite songs and reminisced on how we hope Emma would be proud of her mom and dad. We finished with a course PR of 10:31 and 16th mixed team on a highly competitive day.

It was so good to be back with the SwimRun Community and see so many of my athletes turn their hard work into success. Happy to be apart of this crazy sport and share adventures with so many.

Im happy to announce my retirement from professional triathlon 🙌🏼👏🏼

So much of my life has been triathlon and it has been an absolute experience from pushing myself mentally and physically, but more importantly getting to travel the world and meet and become friends with so many amazing people from around the globe! Triathlon has done so much for me and my family and it will forever hold a special place in my heart as I move through the next phase of life.

There are so many people that deserve credit for my career and I hope you know that I’m appreciative to every one of you (even if not pictured).
