VOLUME IV: THE RECEPTION We wanted everything about our wedding to feel inclusive, intimate and close. With classic Italian music playing, we served dinner family-style, with everyone gathered around long harvest tables, passing and sharing food as if you were home. The wine on the table was Steph’s Zio Mario’s, imported straight from Italy🇮🇹 The trees were such a staple in the overall vibe, and sitting beneath them truly felt like we were having dinner under the Tuscan sun. Thank you @weventsbymelwood for bringing every single detail to life so beautifully. We chose @samanthagracie & @dark.stormer , two of our very best friends, to be our MCs. We knew they would crush it, but they truly blew it out of the water. Our friends and family took turns speaking throughout the night, and it was truly one of the most insane displays of love we have ever witnessed. There were uproars of laughter, more tears than we could count, standing ovations, and a very impressive BBCAN roast 😂 @jibs32 The song playing was our first dance song, Next To You by John Vincent III. That song holds so much meaning for us. When Steph and I first met in Mexico, we were lying next to each other, sharing her AirPods, and that was the song playing. We later took our first trip together to New York to see it performed live. And it was the song playing when she proposed to me. 🥹 But before we had our first dance, I surprised Steph with a performance of my own. We’ll talk about that a little later. 🥰 We kicked off the dance floor with the sax and the energy in that room that was absolutely unmatched. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful evening, and we couldn’t have picked better people to share it with.
