As the moon rises over Columbia Park it's my pleasure to share a sneak peek of what's in store for tomorrow, Saturday and then our October 5th and 6th gallery hours! Many thanks to all those who added their glimpses of the world to this lovely show...and our humble Greenville art shed ❤️🌍❤️

Thank you @trismccall_nj and @jerseycitytimes for including us, and some great shots of our participants' work and our set up, in your JC Fridays recommendations (link in our bio)...and thank you to all the fine folks who visited yesterday! We'll see you again later today at 2pm (and again in October!) for another mini trip around the globe 🌎❤️🌎

After a week of recovery, returns and reflection I just wanna once again thank our many participating artists from "Around the World in 80 Images" as well as everyone who attends, supports, enjoys and encourages the efforts of those artists and of Project Greenville 😀 We had a great weekend of appreciative visitors & a lot of great art in our cozy yard that we share with the community from time to time; top that off with cookies from Neptune bakery and beautiful flowers from Entenmann's florist and it felt like a little garden party each day (when Entenmann's asks, "would you like a mixed bouquet then?" I totally recommend just saying yes--you'll never be disappointed!) 💐 Special thanks to @schwartzrays (seen here modeling our locations map) & @sharon_tony (seen here with her theme enthusiastic globe earrings 🌎) for both adding a lot of work to the show but also taking the time and talking to so many folks who came through about the show and your travels! And shout out to the well behaved pooches--and their dedicated humans--who visited, that always makes my day 🐶
Artists if I still have your work please reach out and let's make a plan to get yours back to you...thank you all so much 💚

What some folks may not realize about our space is that--because it is an unfinished shed and garage type space and therefore susceptible to effects from humidity, hot, cold etc--we take the show down when there will be a long period of time between its last showing (JC Friday weekend, Sept 13th and 14th) and then recreate the installation closer to the next showing (this weekend, October 5th and 6th). This is done so that the work everyone has shared is safe and sound in a more controlled climate so as to protect everyone's art and to ensure it all looks just as beautiful once again for the next viewing...but SOMEone just could NOT wait until it was all hung back up to check out the final weekend of Around the World in 80 Images! 😺
I think she approves...
